The Occupational Health and Safety Act and the relevant South African National Standards require all pressure vessels with a hazard category group II and higher to be approved for compliance with the national requirements by an appropriately registered professional person. Even if you have sourced a manufacturer for your pressure vessel, you still need an independent approval of the design in accordance with South African National Standards.
